Overbrook Foundation
The Forum is a sponsored project of The Overbrook Foundation. Overbrook, located in New York City, is a non-partisan family foundation established in 1948 by Frank and Helen Altschul. Overbrook strives to improve the lives of people by supporting projects that protect human and civil rights, advance the self-sufficiency and well being of individuals and their communities, and conserve the natural environment. With assets of approximately $165 million, Overbrook awarded $8.3 million in grants during 2005. Overbrook plans to use earmarked contributions to support the Forum and will in all events use them to support and encourage public understanding of, and informed public debate about, the issues related to the conservation of the natural environment and the role of renewable energy. Any and all benefits for corporate sponsors of the Forum are conferred solely by the Forum and are not the responsibility of Overbrook.
